PRIDE took the title at Legends Cup in Santa Ana, California, by beating 5POWER 3-1 in the grand final.

Legends Cup brought four teams from three continent to North America, pitting them against each other with $25,000 up for grabs.

The North American representatives were Swole Patrol and Etherian, PRIDE came in as a replacement for the European winners AGO, while 5POWER was the Asian team in the competition, however, fielding two stand-ins due to visa issues.

The two North American sides suffered losses in the opening matches, the upper bracket semi-final, with Swole Patrol holding on to tournament life with an overtime win over Etherian in the lower bracket.

Meanwhile, PRIDE took a fairly comfortable win in the upper-bracket BO3 final against 5POWER, whose stand-in duo Erdenetsogt "⁠erkaSt⁠" Gantulga and David "⁠Toy⁠" Han made the second map a close one by dropping 29 and 27 frags, respectively.

After dealing with Swole Patrol again, 5POWER scheduled a grand final rematch with PRIDE on the last day of the tournament. The Poles started with a dominant 16-3 win on Train, but the Asian team brought it back on Mirage. However, PRIDE sealed the deal on Nuke, and with that took the 3-1 win in the series due to having a map advantage, as they came from the upper bracket.
